I’ve heard lots of people going on about this ‘Tor’ deep web. It sounds really dodgy, can something online really be that secure?

that Tor thing is just like bouncing your data around hundreds of different computers online instead of directly from your own computer. it’s safer but obviously still doesn’t leave you completely hidden. and pointless for everyday internet use
